This coming met my expectations & more. They were able to squeeze us into the schedule last minute. The movers showed up on time & very professional! I felt very comfortable talking with each employee about handling our belongings.

J.E. Thomas & Sons moving company went above and beyond our expectations today! They helped move my small private school and day treatment center across town. The movers who came were completely professional, accommodating, respectful, and gentlemanly. They took care, making sure to be gentle with all of our furniture and supplies. Not only were they efficient but pleasant and good humored as well. Once we arrived at the new building they did an excellent job communicating with us to ensure all our items were placed in the most beneficial place for us. Thanks to them going that extra step we will have less maneuvering to do. Once they were finished they insisted on doing a final run through to ensure there was nothing else they could do for us. It was a nice touch and very appreciated. When discussing the bill they explained the charges in a professional manner.
Any time in the future I need movers or can make a recommendation I will definitely use J. E. Thomas & Son.

I called this company for a last minutes partial pack move to a local storage unit. They were able scheduled an appointment within a day to give us an estimatr. We received an estimate which I thought to be very fair. Our estimate included a washroom, partial kitchen pack, a walkin closet and our two car garage. The eatimate was about $800 during peek moving season (June July) . But, we had dressers, vanities, in our livingroom.
Cons,
Kid was in the garage messing around on the skate board not packing items.
Said they took a 45 minute lunch of the form when they took a one hour and 20 minute lunch
I reminded them a few times about items they did not pack during the walk through and before they left. They still did not pack it.
Left electronics not packed in the garage. I let them know I did not mind sweeping the floors but they forgot a lot of items.
I ended up taking 4 more loads and packing the reat of the kitchen after my estimate was made and thought it would have saved me money. But in the end it only saved me about 50 to 60 dollars.

Family owned business with southern hospitality in their soul. Bunch of all around nice guys, they work fast and work hard. Even with a short-notice move like mine they were able to squeeze me in and get me moved in a few hours. If I ever leave the area this is the company I want moving me again. They do military moves also just FYI
